Boneless Family Ham
This fully-cooked, smoked ham comes from our friends at Peer Foods in Chicago. They take pride in doing things the traditional way, including naturally smoking their hams using hickory and hardwoods because they know it tastes better. Ham is cut from the leg section of a pig that is trimmed and smoked. Compared to other fattier cuts of pork, ham is lean, flavorful, and is a real crowd-pleaser for dinner (and leftovers).
COOKING TIP: This ham is fully cooked so you could slice it right after thawing it but if you want to roast it, here’s how: Preheat the oven to 325℉ and remove the ham from the package and wrap with tin foil or place it in a covered, oven-safe dish. Cook for about 90 minutes or until the internal temperature exceeds 140℉ and then allow it to rest for 15-20 minutes before serving beside green beans and potatoes - mashed, scalloped, or fries - you really can’t go wrong.
