These are the same marrow bones you see on menus at high-end restaurants - no need for a reservation because you can now make them at home! Traditionally just saved for soup stock, these bones are not the same style that you would toss in a pot to simmer away all day - although, you definitely could and the soup would be incredible. These bones are cut into 2” lengths and best served as an amazing appetizer. Purely Meat company makes sure that all of their marrow bones come from non-GMO, grass-fed and finished cattle that are given no antibiotics. Bone marrow is not just a delicious high-end appetizer, it’s healthy too! It’s full of collagen, which improves the health and strength of bones and skin, and rich in glucosamine, which helps with joint pain and joint inflammation.
Place the marrow bones cut side up on a foil lined baking sheet and sprinkle with a bit of salt. Cook them for 20 minutes in an oven preheated to 425°F. Enjoy the marrow by spreading it on garlic toast, fresh bread, or crackers. You could even add fresh herbs or a squeeze of lemon to the bones before serving. Delicious and healthy, now that’s a great combo!
